Do you need to visit before I buy?
Once, briefly, and not to sell. On city or county water your utility's report tells us what's in it, so there's no water test to sit through. We do stop by to look at where your water comes in: whether there's a softener loop, where the drain and outlet are, and whether any re-piping needs a licensed plumber. That's what lets us put the price in writing, extras included, before any work starts. On a private well we also test the water on that visit, free.
Could the price change on install day?
Only for the unusual-install situations listed in step 2 of the price builder, each with its own flat price, and we tell you in writing before we start. If we find something we didn't expect, you decide whether to go ahead. No surprise line items.
Why don't other companies show prices?
Many sell through long in-home presentations where the price is negotiated on the spot. We'd rather you see the price first and decide in your own time.
How can the prices be this straightforward?
We buy commercial-grade parts wholesale, use standard parts and filters, and keep the visit short. There's no two-hour presentation built into the price.
Can I pay monthly?
Yes. We offer monthly payment options through Acorn Finance, which shows you offers from its lending partners. Checking your offers takes about a minute and won't affect your credit score; the lender only runs a full credit check if you choose an offer. Rates and terms depend on your credit, and not everyone qualifies.
What does it cost after year one?
Salt as needed, and on The Whole Home the RO filters about once a year. Standard parts mean you can buy them anywhere, not just from us. Or take the water-care plan, $199 a year, and we handle the filters and the yearly check.
