Water softeners & whole-home filtration in Ellenton
Ellenton homes get hard, chloraminated Manatee County water. We tell you what's in it, give you a flat, written price and install in a day, with compact systems for smaller utility spaces.
What we see in Ellenton homes.
- 01
Hard water
White crust on faucets, spotty dishes and a water heater that works harder every year.
- 02
Chloramine
Dry skin, faded laundry and a chemical taste that ordinary carbon filters struggle with.
- 03
Tight spaces
Manufactured and smaller homes need compact equipment that fits where the plumbing is.
Most Ellenton homes start with The Whole Home. Your utility's report and a quick call settle the final design. See all three systems, or take the one-minute quiz.
Four things that go in writing on every quote.Hold us to them.
- The price on the quote is the price on the invoice. Anything unusual about your install gets its own flat price, in writing, before we start.
- Commercial-grade parts, bought wholesale. No brand markup, and no proprietary filters that only we can sell you.
- Standard fittings and standard media. Any plumber in Manatee County can service it. You're never tied to us.
- One short visit, and it isn't a pitch. Your utility already publishes what's in your water, so we start there. Before install day we stop by once for a short look at where your water comes in, so we can tell you in writing whether the job is standard, whether any extra work has a charge, and whether re-piping means bringing in a licensed plumber.
Right off I-75, minutes from our shop.
Ellenton sits on the north bank of the Manatee River, between Palmetto and I-75, a few minutes from our Bradenton base. It's unincorporated, so homes on public water get Manatee County's supply: Lake Manatee reservoir water blended with aquifer wells and disinfected with chloramine. Manatee County's 2025 water quality data lists total hardness of 106 to 279 mg/L, roughly 6 to 16 grains per gallon.
That's enough hardness to crust faucets, spot dishes and shorten the life of water heaters. Chloramine is more stable than chlorine, so our whole-home systems use catalytic carbon made to remove it.
Ellenton has many manufactured-home and 55-plus communities, where the water heater and main line are often in a tight closet or under the home. We size and place compact equipment to fit, and we'll confirm with your community's rules before installing anything outside.

What Ellenton homeowners ask us.
I live in a manufactured home. Can you still install a whole-home system?
Usually, yes. We use compact tanks and place them where your main line comes in, whether that's a utility closet, carport or under the home. If space is very tight, an under-sink RO and a shower filter are good alternatives.
Does my community need to approve it?
Some do, especially for anything visible outside. We'll give you the equipment size and a photo of the planned location so you can check before we install.
Is Ellenton water the same as Palmetto's?
Very close. Both come from Manatee County's supply. The difference is mostly in your home's plumbing, which is why we measure your tap before and after the install.
What maintenance is involved?
Add salt to the softener every month or two and change the sediment filter on schedule. The carbon tank lasts years. We'll remind you when service is due.
Nobody is coming to sit at your kitchen table.
Most companies want to come test your water so they can sit at your table and sell. We don't need to: your utility publishes exactly what's in it, every year. The one visit before install day is a short look at where your water comes in, so the price we put in writing covers any extra plumbing work.
