Your system, looked after.
Scanned the sticker on your system? You're in the right place. Here's what to check and when, what to do if something seems off, and how to reach us.
What to check, and when.
Pick your system. We'll also text you when a filter is due.
Something seems off?
First step for almost anything: put the system in bypass, so water goes around it to your house.
- Find the bypass valve where the pipes connect to the control valve on top of the tank.
- Turn the handle or knob to BYPASS. Your house still has water; it just isn't treated.
- Text us a photo of the system. We'll take it from there.
Water leaking from the system
Put it in bypass (below), then text us a photo. Your house keeps running water while we sort it out.
Spots and scale are coming back
Check the salt. If the brine tank looks full but the water's hard, salt may have formed a hard crust (a "salt bridge"). Gently break it up with a broom handle, then text us if it doesn't improve within a couple of days.
Low water pressure
Usually a filter that's due for a change. Put the system in bypass and text us.
Water tastes salty
Put it in bypass and text us. A softener setting may need adjusting.
The rotten-egg smell is back (well systems)
Text us. If the smell changed suddenly, also have your well tested for bacteria.
It takes a minute and helps your neighbors find honest water treatment.
