Who you're dealing with
The owner's name is Jake, and he's from here.
Safer Water Co. is a Bradenton family business, not a franchise. When you hire us, none of the money goes to a national brand or a salesperson's commission. It goes into the system in your garage and into a family that lives a few miles from you.
Where your money goes.
Most of what you pay any water company goes into equipment and installation. The difference is where the rest ends up.
Part of the price can go to franchise royalties, national advertising and a salesperson's commission. That's how the in-home sales visit pays for itself.
No franchise fees, no commissioned salespeople, no corporate office to answer to. What's left after the equipment and the install supports a local family. It's also why we can publish flat prices.
A note from Jake.
I'm Jake. I was born and raised in Bradenton, went to Manatee High School and then State College of Florida. I started Safer Water Co. to build something that lasts: a business my family can be proud of, in the town that raised me.
That photo is the reason. The little one is our daughter, Eloise. Every system we install helps put food on our table and builds her future. You won't be a number on a regional sales board. You'll be a neighbor, and my name is on every job.
So we do it the honest way: real prices up front, the right system for your water, and no pressure, ever. I'll tell you what your water needs and what's optional, and if you want more than that, it's your house: we'll put in what you ask for at a flat price.
But this is Manatee County, and there's a reason I started this business. Our county water is hard, up to 16 grains per gallon in the county's own 2025 data, and it's treated with chloramine. Most homes here do need it. See the numbers

That's the whole pitch.
The prices are on the site, the quiz tells you which one, and the install takes a day. Nobody pushes extras, and if you want them, they're on the menu at a flat price.
