Drinking water system (RO) at the kitchen sink

Best forHard, chloraminated county or city water. Soft water at every tap, no pool smell, and bottled-water taste at the kitchen sink, installed in a day.

What's inside
  • One combined tank built to order in Florida: chlorine-resistant softening resin under a catalytic carbon layer for chlorine and chloramine, on a 1-inch digital metered control valve, with its brine tank. Sharing one tank means less resin than a dedicated softener, so it's sized to your water's hardness and your household, and the softening capacity is written on your quote
  • The metered valve recharges on the water you actually use, and has a push-button bypass built in
  • A drinking water system (reverse osmosis) under the kitchen sink, with its own faucet
  • Standard install, a before-and-after test at your tap, and a walkthrough when we finish
  • Two separate tanks are a +$1,000 upgrade in the builder: a dedicated 10×54 softener tank (1.5 cu ft of chlorine-resistant resin, 48,000-grain rated, 1-inch digital metered valve), plus its own 10×54 tank of catalytic carbon rated for both chlorine and chloramine, on an automatic backwashing valve
Warranty & running cost

Warranty: Up to 10-year tank & 5-year control valve manufacturer's warranties (plus our 1-year installation workmanship guarantee), spelled out part-by-part in writing before you buy.

After year one: salt as needed, plus drinking water filters about once a year. Or hand it to us with the water-care plan, $199 a year, and we handle the filters and the yearly check.

No salt

Salt-free + whole-house filter

Standard install included · what that covers

Drinking water system (RO) at the kitchen sink

Best forHomes that don't want salt, a brine tank or a rinse cycle. It cuts scale and takes out the pool smell, but it doesn't soften: the minerals stay in the water, so you'll still see some spotting.

What's inside
  • A salt-free conditioner on the main line: no salt, no brine tank, no electricity
  • Both tanks built to order in Florida
  • Catalytic carbon media rated for both chlorine and chloramine in a 10×54 tank with an automatic backwashing control valve
  • Standard install, a before-and-after test at your tap, and a walkthrough when we finish
  • Want true soft water instead? That's The Whole Home.
Warranty & running cost

Warranty: Up to 10-year tank & 5-year control valve manufacturer's warranties (plus our 1-year installation workmanship guarantee), spelled out part-by-part in writing before you buy.

After year one: no salt. The conditioner and carbon media are replaced every few years.

Private wells

On a well

Free test, then one written price

No package price, because no two wells test the same

For reference, most single-tank well iron or sulfur filters land around $2,395–$2,695 installed, and two-tank iron/sulfur + softener setups around $3,795–$3,895, quoted to the dollar in writing after your free on-site water test.

Best forParrish, Myakka City and anywhere the water bill doesn't come from a utility. Iron, sulfur, hardness or bacteria, each handled only if your test says so.

What's inside
  • A free test at your home: hardness, iron, sulfur, pH, dissolved solids and chlorine
  • Bacteria and nitrate need a state-certified lab; we'll point you to one
  • A system built from your results: iron and sulfur filter, softener, UV, or only the one thing your well needs
  • One flat, written quote before any work starts. If it only needs one thing fixed, that's all we quote
Warranty & running cost

Warranty: Up to 10-year tank & 5-year control valve manufacturer's warranties (plus our 1-year installation workmanship guarantee), spelled out part-by-part in writing before you buy.

After year one: depends on what your test calls for. It goes on the quote, so there are no surprises later.

One piece on its own.

Kitchen tap

Drinking water system (RO)

Bottled-water taste at the kitchen tap, from its own faucet. RO is short for reverse osmosis: a small unit under the sink that catches what the other filters can't.

Start from a ready-made setup
1 · Or pick your pieces

What's RO? Short for reverse osmosis: a small unit under the kitchen sink, with its own faucet, that pushes water through a very fine membrane. It catches what the other filters can't, like lead, PFAS and dissolved salts, so the water tastes like good bottled water.

More about each serviceWater softenersWhole-house filtrationDrinking water system (RO)Well water treatmentFree well water test

Can I buy just one piece, like only a softener or only a drinking water system?

Yes. The softener, the whole-house filter and the kitchen reverse osmosis unit are each sold on their own at a flat price. Any two together, or all three, cost less than buying them separately. We'll tell you which ones your water calls for, and if it only needs one, that's all we quote.

      What's the warranty?

Up to 10-year tank and 5-year control valve manufacturer's warranties, plus our 1-year installation workmanship guarantee, spelled out part by part in writing before you buy. Your written quote lists the exact terms for each part before any work starts.

Do you need to visit before I buy?

Once, briefly, and not to sell. On city or county water your utility's report tells us what's in it, so there's no water test to sit through. We do stop by to look at where your water comes in: whether there's a softener loop, where the drain and outlet are (no outlet nearby means a licensed electrician adds one), and whether any re-piping needs a licensed plumber. That's what lets us put the price in writing, extras included, before any work starts. On a private well we also test the water on that visit, free.

Could the price change on install day?

Only for unusual-install situations, like an attic main line or no outlet nearby. Each has its own flat price, and we tell you in writing before we start. If we find something we didn't expect, you decide whether to go ahead. No surprise line items.

Why don't other companies show prices?

Many sell through long in-home presentations where the price is negotiated on the spot. We'd rather you see the price first and decide in your own time.

How can the prices be this straightforward?

We buy commercial-grade parts wholesale, use standard parts and filters, and keep the visit short. There's no two-hour presentation built into the price.

      Can I pay monthly?

Yes. We offer monthly payment options through Acorn Finance, which shows you offers from its lending partners. Checking your offers takes about a minute and won't affect your credit score; the lender only runs a full credit check if you choose an offer. Rates and terms depend on your credit, and not everyone qualifies.

What does it cost after year one?

Salt as needed if you have a softener, and drinking water filters about once a year if you have the drinking water system (RO). The carbon tank needs nothing for years. Standard parts mean you can buy them anywhere, not just from us. Or take the water-care plan, $199 a year, and we handle the filters and the yearly check.
